The donation is from proceeds of Storm the Day 2024, a race in The Storm Trail Race Series.

Storm the Day (Sunrise to Sunset) 2024 took place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Prairie Island Campground. This fixed-time event started at 7:10 am and concluded at 6:39 pm. The 2.5-mile course utilized a portion of the campground and the nearby "Deer Park" trails. Participants complete the 2.5-mile loop as many times as they could in the 11 hours and 29 minutes.
The Prairie Island Adventure Club aligns with our mission to provide funding to services and programs that focus on youth mental health.
The program is built on the science of resilience and positive youth development, offering opportunities for young people to:
grow relationships with peers and healthy supportive adults,Â

strengthen their effective coping skills. Â
